Madoff Gives Prison Fighting a Shot

It wasn’t long ago, just last month, that Allen Stanford was in a jail fight where he suffered a concussion, a broken nose, and two black eyes.

Not one to be outdone by another Ponzi-schemer, Bernie Madoff seems to have gotten in a kerfuffle of his own, but faired quite a bit better.

In the process of serving his 150-year sentence he apparently worked himself and another federal prisoner into a heated discussion, over the stock market no less.

The argument culminated in a shouting and, ultimately, shoving match where the 71-year-old Madoff prevailed over his 60-year-old foe. Neither seemed to be injured in the confrontation and it appears as if neither will be punished. You can’t make this stuff up.

The original story from the New York Post covers the details of the inmate brawl.
