About The Desidooru Saloon
The Desidooru Saloon was the Daily Reckoning’s first foray into the blogosphere. Launched in mid-2006, it offered a more open and organic dialogue that readers could be a part of. As time passed and technology evolved, we made it possible for readers to sound off on every article we write; the Desidooru Saloon, having blazed the trail, closed its doors in early 2009. The old Saloon blog entries are posted here, snapshots in time from the housing bubble’s peak to the stock market’s post-Lehman bottom.
