I pulled out of stocks about a week ago. Except for my IRA which I can't touch for 15 years. I'm invested almost entirely in commodities there.

Actually, today I bought some Best Buy Jan 2011 puts. BBY went up because of the Circuit City bankruptcy, but IMO, I think the internet and Wal Mart are their real competition. That and I think a big thing supporting their sales are people living for free in their soon to be foreclosed homes.

Mr. Bonner,

perfect analysis, you are right on!
I think Wall Street will attempt to con public into "rallies" to cash in... but a real deep bottom is waiting; just a matter of time

Another worthwhile thing to consider is skipping the middleman and buying the cigs or whiskey now, for later.

A well stocked wine cellar also can carry wealth into the future.

Everybody with common sense didn't buy stocks this year for the long run, only to speculate, according to the bigger fool theory. It seems there are no more bigger fools, so indeed...time to end speculation - agree.
My point is now, that it seems all Treasuries will really spend until death, how much longer this can support the markets worldwide.

I tend to agree. With such holdings as XOM teetering at $70 and lower and their resulting p/e of 9ish, I have been frozen between a "buy" impulse and a "sell".

Not so with Gold and Silver though! I love it too much. It's mine!! Even if that market collapses in a deflationary apocolypse it's mine!

Q: "How much for a couple of cigs and a shot of whiskey?"

A: "You have a silver Krug, Maple or Eagle?"
