Yes there was plenty of good material on the old DR forum. I suppose it was hard to claim copyright on it and make any money?

Of course at times it was pretty unruly too. I am surprised they did not leverage it better. Just killing it seemed to lose the value that had been created over the years.

I’m very surprised no-one is seeing that government does not need to print any money; all the money they need they are getting for “free” by liquidating long term treasuries with higher yields and issuing short ones with very low interest rate. There is a constant demand to park money in treasury no matter how low yield, then to risk in other financial gamble. There is not enough printing power in USA and in the world to supply hundreds of billions of $ for broke flat banks…

You may be right, Jon.

But if your reason is that “Obama has a big brain” and “the world is begging for a smart and fair leader.”, seems you’re building a house on sand.

Obama is a kid, Jon. Never had a job. Never saw a man die. Never experienced true want, true adversity. He’s, let’s say ‘very sympathetic’ to the Marxist view of economics and the world. He seems somewhat…divided in his allegience to this country.

High taxes, debt so high you can’t concieve of the numbers, cheap Chicago-style threats of using the full force of government to trample our rights and freedoms unless we lick the foot of his administration and come to heel.

..and they believe their own press.

This bodes well to you?
