		<description>The notion that a political appointee would take an opposing stance to the lobbyists, congressman, and regulators of the drug partners of the government is very naive I think.  The government and big pharma are partners, not opponents.  One size fits all the battle cry of government health care.</description>

		<description>Well I agree with most of the article, but the idea that drug companies need to make ridiculous profits in order for R&amp;D to progress is just plain wrong. Most of the R&amp;D, the basic science, is federally funded.  Drug companies have tons of money to spend in court over intellectual property rights, millions to spend on advertising and exorbitant executive salaries.  They aren&#039;t hurting for money, nor are they the engines of progress.</description>
