For the average baby boomer about to retire, the cost of living will leapfrog their 1st retirement check as living costs will increase 3-4 times during their retirement. Which is the greatest cost of living increase for retirees in history. This is the only way the bailout will actually pencil out. There isn’t a income producing investment able to keep up this inflation rocket. Which means the majority of Americans are now card carrying members of the WORKING DEAD CLUB & will be spending the rest of their lives like Wiley Coyote attaching acme rockets to there investment portfolios. I wonder what Thomas Jefferson would say about this situation? “The tree of liberty is watered with the blood of tyrants.” Translation, let the banks fail and preserve the value of the American Dollar.
