I have been preaching that Europe is headed for a second generation of facism because of a collapsing global economy and Europe's strong dependance on central gov't. Most European countries have strong central gov'ts with strick regulation and heavy entitlement programs. When the entitlement programs become unravelled causing the trains to stop running and store shelves go bare, Europe will be ripe for the rise of dictatorships and facism as the people thrust meglomanics into power because they promise to end the suffering of the people. Its much easier for a meglomanic to seize control when a country is already dependant on central gov't control. Wow Joel,
