On what basis is such growth predicated? Europe has a rapidly declining, rapidly eldering population, and their debt situation is no better than America's. Europe simply isn't situated to do anything but hamper the world recovery unless it can find a way to repudiate its own debt, divest itself of its pension programs, and start growing human beings again. Absent that, the continent has no way to compete with Asia.
