Dear Mogambo,
don’t be so hard on yourself for the little mistake. I made much bigger ones during my term at the FED, and I don’t go around saying I’m embarrased. Of course you are right about the FED and all that crap, but Who Cares (WC)?! 99% of mankind is just too stupid, so they deserve to be separated from their money. And we, superior minds, deserve to take it from them. The FED was just the most efficient means to accomplish that, as far as we could figure. Let the suckers have it bad, and we gold bugs have it good! Yours truly, Alan.

Hi Mogambo
Ignore the know-it-alls who said Krugerrands are pure gold, you were right, Kruggerrands were selling for less than US Eagles at one time. I myself saw with my own eyes that Kruggernads sold for less than all other gold coins from what dealers had for sale, on internet sites offering gold coins for sale, etc.
I thought this was due to a South African Gold Coin bias.

Instead of replying to these know-it-alls concerning gold coin purity, you should have scolded them to not waste their time pointing out Kruggerrnad’s purity and start using their time wisely and buy more gold NOW!
I mean put things in perspective, buy now, point out the finer details of gold coin fineness later.

OR maybe this was just another Junior Mogambo Ranger pop quiz to see if we are on our toes (Let me guess, this will be on the final exam, right?)

Interesting (I), I didn’t know that Operation Bernhard (OB) was still active. I guess the Germans (G) expanded it to include the Italians (I) and the Yamato People (YP).

In any case, Dear Mogambo (DM), None Of Us (NOU) is Perfect (P). No Big Deal (NBD) about the gold coins. But You (Y) do have to worry about Da Fed (DF), for like the Holy Roman Empire (HRE), which was neither Holy (H), nor Roman (R) nor an Emmpire (E), Da Federal Reserve (DFR) is not Federal (F) nor has any Reserve (R).

The problem with the Krugerrand is that it is generally circulated gold money which should trade for less as Gold is lost due to wear and such. But in this gold climate people are just happy to be able to get gold and will pay on par for circulated versus uncirculated coins
