I'm amazed at the attitude of the pundits that continue to blather,..."...consumer prices are down!"
HUH!!!!
When was the last time you went grocery shopping, or to your local drug store (dating myself?) to buy "over the counter" medications that you need?
"Consumer" goods must mean cars, computers, house fixer upper goodies...but, please not those things that we need every day of the week!!!!
Get Real!

To me it seems the US will not have an endless slump like Japan, but sth sudden - sth relatively small will trigger the final collapse, the endgame - and this will happen sooner then it seems now...2009...and of course this final bust will be global.

I need translation. Does this mean Bonner thinks we're on the Japan track, or the Argentina track? He's getting harder to understand than Greenspan! Well, not really.

"Japan never got out of its slump.... And to make matters worse, deflation is back. Consumer prices are now falling…again."

So consumers can afford more things which is definitely good. Only keyenesians would complain about that but Bill is not a keynesian is he ?
