The Democratic Party should never, ever be entrusted with foreign policy. All they know how to do is cut and run, after they send many of our innocent military personnel to their deaths. He also wrote that neither he nor anyone in the administration knew much about Vietnam before entering he war. So it may not be much consolation to those involved (the soldiers), but at least he had the courage to admit to his mistakes.
