I won't congratulate for your Trade of the Decade having turned out to be successful. I am more into Prussian understatement. But Merryn Somerset Webb did it already, didn't he?

So Mr. Bonner, I hope you don't intend to rest on your laurels. What is the trade for the next decade?

I wish I had bought gold in 2000 instead of stocks. The depression Bill talks about is still coming. The Feds have staved it off but not for long. It will come to a stop after the earnings reports come in for the 4th quarter which included a lousy Christmas season for most businesses. Look out in the stock market in late January! The carry trades will have to unwind then, too.

So it's such a sure thing then: 14,000 Dow in 2010.

So bet your house on it...borrow against it and buy stocks.

Bull market. Plain and simple. At least now you're starting to actually let that "possibility" enter the discussion. Up until now we've heard nothing but "depression" talk from you. I guess that's off the table now.

So now it should be easier to acknowledge and accept the new bull market. This will be the investment of the next decade.
