It seem’s as though this whole financial train wreck was engineered.
The BailOut packages were written way before the crisis began…I guess we have a solution on its way.
It’s just blatant wealth transfer.

Having been forced to fly many times last year on a one hour plane route, I do not share your hostility for Amtrak. Flying is a horrible stress filled way to travel if you do not have your own private jet.

Automobile and airlines are very heavily subsidized by the government. Why do the anti-government people always attack the trains for the scraps they get from the government when the really juicy government largesse goes to funding every form of travel besides trains?

It’s with great sadness that I learn of the permanent demise of the greatest information and idea clearing house of all time: the 2Cents board. Wider audience? Hah! What compares with the web stats that board accumulated? Not much.

Rather than it being an inside job, I’d like to think the reason it’s no longer is that possibly the Obaminator did more than just read the posts by DR’s contributors. He must have took a peek at what was going on at 2Cents and sent his thought police on ahead to have nice chat with Herr Bonner…sniff…sniff…

O.K. After years, and I mean years of coffee and Bonner, the email did not show. For days it did not show.
I worried. I fretted. What had I done to get riffed?
New filters at AOL? Or is it the government? Perhaps it was the Tiny Tim comment.
I have re-linked and put an electric fence around my computer. We’ll see if Bonner gets through.

yes why is it that we never learn that those who’ve reached the limits permissive promiscuous perverted cycle driven by lies cheating exaggerating and stealing which has become the modus operandi for a modern society hypnotized by self adulation and greed now seeks relief from suffering the consequences of a wasted life style.
Sounds almost like religion eh?
